My dearest little one...we fought a long, hard battle, didn't we? All those saline injections...even in the dark by flashlight during Hurricane Sandy. But God wanted you with Him & I know that you are in the arms of the angels and His safekeeping. I miss you fiercely & I will never forget you or the impact you had on my life at a time when I was so broken I thought I could not go on. I love you & miss you & carry you in my heart always...Love, Your Mommy

Hello Karen, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Alfie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Karen, your little Alfie is beautiful and precious in his picture. What a wonderful blessing that he came into your life many years ago and became such a beloved companion and friend. I, too, lost a furbaby suddenly and I truly know the sorrow in your heart. We must always know that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Alfie now plays like a puppy in heavenly sunshine, romping with joy in a new world full of love and fun. My two rainbow kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Alfie and I am sure my kitties have fallen in love with your little angel. We will be reunited with our babies at the rainbow bridge someday. Blessings of healing and comfort, dear friend. You were, and always will be, a wonderful mommy fo Alfie.

Dear Karen, sending my condolences for the parting of sweet Alfie. In your grieving I hope you will find comfort to know that Alfie plays and rests in the most peaceful place. He may be absent in the physical (form) but Alfie is definitely not gone - his presence will often be with you while his love lives on forever in your heart. Send Alfie your loving thoughts nightly and you will see in your dreams that he will show you he is doing just fine. Sweetest Blessings Always

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Karen, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Alfie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm
