So loved reading about your Abbie.

To Abbie, Hey Abbie I just sent a message to Bonnie and Tessa. So you know what you and Sydney need to do. When you touch your mommy's heart you let her know that all of her babies are waiting for her at the bridge but it's just not time yet. Until then all the babies are with her and the next time she is feeling a little sad that all she has to do is put her hand to her heart cause that where all 4 of her dear babies live.

Dear Susan, I wanted to come and visit your precious Abbie, what a cutie. She must've been very special to you. Abbie. Sydney, Tessa, and Bonnie Blue are happily playing together now, enjoying the sweet breezes at RB, and one day you will see them again.

Susan- Gone but never ever forgotten. Honor and celebrate a life well lived as you reminisce of your life with Abbie. May her soul rest in peace.

Hello, pretty Abbie. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful butterflies with you. Pressy asked her family to visit doggie playmate Abbie. She said she gives you special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Momma feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you one day to cross Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Momma so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so. Soar among clouds now on silvery angel wings to watch over Momma always, beloved Lovus. Pressy's Grandpa

I wanted to send my sympathies after all the years, to let you know some of us know the thoughts you must still have for your Abbie. Your messages and continued contact tell me how much your loved Abbie. I feel the same for my Barney Pug, who left us 11 years ago - I still thinks daily of him. My beagle girl, Molly, has been gone a month, and my Dusty beagle almost three years (she is on the Bridge site, so you can see Molly and Barney there, too: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/DUSTY127/Resident.htm). I miss them all equally every day, so I know you must do, too, for Abbie. Remember all the good times.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side.... May Abbie's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your heart... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy)....... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Precious Abby, How I know your momma misses you. She's said the most heartfelt, beautiful things about you, I wish I could have known you. But I hope to someday. I hope you'll look up my Andy, he came to be with ya'll last Christmas, and since he may be shy, please show him where the tennis balls are and if you find any empty toilet paper rolls, please give them to him. What a special gift you were to your momma. Please come to her in dreams, and when she least expects it, so she can smile thru her tears, knowing your with her, and sending all your precious puppy love. Theres no love better, or more sincere. I wish you peace, bananas, Thanksgiving turkey, all you can eat, and the love of your momma and family, and know that me, Andy, Fletcher, Hannah, Tempest, Trigger, Smuckers, Lexi-Grace, and Bubba love you too, and one day we'll get to meet and never be parted again. Much love to you sweet angel, Susan and family

Abbie - what a sweet, and precious little girl you were to mom. Send her some kisses from the Rainbow and let her know you are safe, happy, healthy and have made many fur friends to play with. Let mom know that you and Sydney have joined up together and that God has appointed the both of you to be her guardian, protectors to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. Abbie you can now eat all the cheerios you want! To Susan - I send my deepest regrets over the loss of Abbie. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Your tribute to Abbie was so touching. I am crying. I am a Pug Momma too, and I also save the last few Cherrios for my Suki every day and enjoy the endless leg licks. Abbie sounds like she was a wonderful friend. I know she's happy at The Bridge. I'll include her, and you, tonight in my prayers at the Candle Lighting ceremony. Thank you for sharing Abbie's wonderful story.
