Josies feathers
by Suzette Querry.........................................
| I had to go to the store to get a few things for the house. I told Josie to take care of things and to be good! The door we entered, was off the backyard, and I had to step up, go past the laundry room, to get into the kitchen. The stove was build in and,so I sort of did a sneek look, off to the left. There in the frontroom, was my sweet Josie, with feathers everywhere. I know that my eyes about buggued out, and when she turned to see me, she had 1 lonely feather, stuck in my middle of that big black, wet nose, of hers. The look that she had was 'ooohhhhh I am in alot of muck here', and took off running through the house, with me right behind her. Over the bed around anyting that she could get around or behind and over. I never did catch her, and I didn't scold her. I sat down and laughed and cried until I could hardly breathe. Feathers flying and dog (and me) running after her.It took 2 weeks, there abouts, to find them all. That feather stuck on her nose was so funny and that is probably the very funniest thing she did, in almost 11yrs.The look in her eyes said it all! I wish I had a picture of it. It makes me giggle, everytime I remember "Josies Feather" |
