Three Weeks

THREE WEEKS
It's been three weeks since we said "Goodbye".
The last vision of you is still fresh in my mind.
Lying on that blanket with your sweet head in my hands.
I watched you take your last breath, and your heart beat no more.
I couldn't believe that you were gone, you would wake up, I was sure.

I think about you all the time and always a tear will fall.
Especially when I remember you lying in the hall.
I know it's NOT crazy to feel this way.
I just wish people knew how I feel, they can be insensitive and have nothing to say.
I loved you so, no one knows how much.
I kiss your picture every day and feel your touch.
Today I hugged your favorite toy..the one that gave you so much joy.

What can I do? Give me a sign.
I think I am going out of my mind.
You can never be replaced, you were one of a kind.
Just know I will always love you, and will until the end of time.
