What A Laugh Mom

It was a big event. It was the zoo's annual eggstravaganza. Mom picked me up and put the harness and leash on me to take me for a walk so I could see everyone and they ould see me. The first place we went through was the Nocturnal building. That is where all the nighttime animals are. I was an old ferret and suddenly had to go and real bad. So while everyone was over there talking and laughing, I found a corner and spred eagled my legs and let it go. Mom suddenly said to Uncle Sam(the are docents at the zoo) Mom is ferretmom Libby Breen) Sam quick get a papertowel-Sassy is going to the bathroom! Sam came back with the towels and we cleaned up the mess and the three of us went on the rest of the tour of thew zoo.Mom and Uncle sam laughed all the way around. I did too.It was very funny to go to go the bathroom in the building with people coming and going. I have long since crossed over the rainbow bridge--I miss Mom very much but have a lot of wonderful memories to look back on. Some day I know I will see Mom again and we will both be very happy and rejoice in each others love once again. Take heart Mom I love you always Love Sassy |
