I know you are in better place away from pain and disease, but I just needed to tell you how wonderful you have made my life. From the first time we took you home wearing that hunter green ribbon around your neck you entered my heart. Throughout all the stupid drama that comes with being a teenager you were always the one who you show me the most pure unconditional love. Whenever I would feel like a freak with no friends you always had that wonderful tail wagging at me or rest your head in my lap and it always made me feel better. Even when I left home for college, every time I would come home you'd greet me as if I had never been gone. No matter how far away I am I was always thinking about you and missing you. I will never forget the last time I saw you before I moved. I gave you a big hug and told you how much I loved you, but deep in my heart I knew it would be the last time. I hope wherever you are now there is a big beach for you to run down and ride waves. You touched so many people during your time on this earth and I have a hole in my heart that no other pet can or will ever fill. Thank you for being a part of our family, you will always be in my heart and thoughts. Rest in peace Big Boy, I love you.
