| We were a show dog. A long-haired Dachshund, you were used to being adored and loved. We had no problem with that. You were loved and adored on so many plains. Lunar, our black cat, misses you so much. We loved you thru your elderly years and tried to make you comfotable as much as we could. We loved how you'd follow us around, even in your pain and infirmary. We thank you for being with us until the very end. We are grateful we could be with you during your last breath. We look forward to seeing you bound across the green fields in welcome when we pass on someday. God doesn't give us pets to discard. He gives us pets to remind us what unconditional loves means. |
