I remember how you looked at me Your bright brown eyes staring into mine. I remember how we used to run together You right by my side. I remember how we played together You never let me down. I remember how we grew up together. I never had a frown. At times I do regret What we had to do to you. But I know it was for the best But this is always true. Even though I wish you were here I know you must like it there. Although you are not with me I know you are never gone. Because as long as I live You will always hold a special place in my heart. |
