Letter to Chimo

Dear Chimo: It has been a week since you walked over the bridge. Mommy, Daddy, Terri and Tika miss you so much. Our heart is still aching, but I know we did the right thing. I could tell by the pleading look in your eyes a few days before we said goodbye to you. I want you to know I miss our walks together where we were so in-tune with one another. I remember you would be so anxious to go for walks even when you could barely make it. We tried, your hips just wouldn't carry you. Tika keeps looking for your food bowl and keeps looking around for you in back yard. I think she secretly misses your snaffuing her biscuits & her kibble. Please say hi to our dearly departed Kato as well, although you didn't know him, he too was a member of our family prior to your arrival. You two will get along spendidly along with all the other furry friends over the rainbow. My candle burns bright for you, Chimo and I look forward to the day where we will dwell in eternity and be a family again. Love and hugs, Mommy |
