Littleman and the Midget

I'm not a writer or a story teller but I will take a shot at this one. When my best friend was but a pup we decided to get him neuterd(tutored)as we call it. It just so happened to be on the Friday before we were going to Natchez State Park for the weekend and there was no way that I was going to leave my best friend in a kennel all weekend. So we get there and everyting is going just fine,I let him out of the cabin to do his business and he comes right back in.(No pets are allowed in the cabins)but we take him anyway,just could'nt leave him behind.we were in the last cabin on the road with a couple more just right up the hill 40 yards or so away.No one knew we had our pet there the entire weekend,Allmost. The last morning of our stay I let Littleman out to take care of business and he wandered a little too far out,so I called to him,Littleman,Littleman,get back in the cabin. Littleman,I called loudly. About that time I saw somthing move quickly from the corner of my eye toward the other cabins. It was a midget going back to his cabin giving me the ole go to hell look. I stood there speechless as I myself thought of the odds of having a Dog named Littleman while staying next to a midget! This was just the beginning of what was going to be some of the best years of my life with Littleman. |
