Sleep peacefully my dear old friend

| Coco I miss you so much....I loved you with all that I have. When first saw you, you were only a tiny ball of brown fur. I was in love instantly. You came home to us in 1990, we had just gotten married. The first nights you cried like a real baby. I slept with you downstairs. You eventually came around and became very playful. You truly brought joy to my heart. I made a promise to you that when it was your time to go I would let you go. Since the day I brought you home we moved 5 times. Each time you adjusted, life also brought children. You adjusted again and again. The years went on and you started to see the age catching up to you. First your eye sight began to fail. Then your bladder...in the end all you wanted was food. That was the only way you wouldn't bark or cry. I put diapers on you, mopped the floor some days three times. I loved you, I knew it was time. Your quality of life was gone. I did it on my own. I didn't tell the kids or the ex. I took you to the vet and I held you while it all happened. I cried like a baby, I couldn't believe that you were gone. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. Sleep peacefully my dear old friend. |
