How can it only be one week?
To me it feels like years.
Time moves so slow this pain won't go
Still never ending tears.

It seems like only yesterday
You came into the world.
Right from the start you stole my heart
My precious baby girl.

A spirit sweet time did not change
Gentleness so pure.
A life so rare how can I bare?
This heartbreak has no cure.

Timeless are the memories
I feel you everywhere,
But death can't take or even break
The bonds of love we share.

There'll never be another soul
Or anyone like you.
You held my grace like broken lace
No other heart could be more true.

So until we meet again my love
Remember forever I love you so
And wait to meet you on that bridge
