A Wrinkel I Did not Want

by Julee Barrass.........................................

To My Darling Eddie Bell
On a very cold day my Son came to the door with a round bundel of black wrinkles in his arms. He had never had a dog . As I was saying no she has to go, she put her head forward and licked me right in the face. I fell in love from that point on. She was a watch dog and a procter. She also was the bigest baby in the world. I never met anyone who didn't love her. She was one of the smartest dogs I have ever known.I lost my oldest son 3 years ago at Christmas time as I cried my dog put her paw on my shoulder. As smart as she was she just seemed to know that I was still so sad. She became even closer to me then ever. I began takeing her with me everywere. In those 3 years everyone moved from our house as Children will do. My dog was my constant companion. On 3/19/10 She started to limp. So off to her vet we went. I never thought the news would be so bad, she was very ill and I had to put her down. As I took her coller off I thanked her for everything she had done for me. I held her head and kissed her face, she licked my tears away and kissed my eyes, and the palms of my hands.
SO TO MY EDDIE MY HEART AND LOYAL FRIEND WE HAVE LOVED AND PLAYED UNTILL THE END. I GIVE YOU NOW TO GOD TO TEND. HE WILL WATCH YOU EVERYDAY TILL I CAN COME ,NEVER WILL WE PART AGAIN. I KNOW YOU WILL SEE ME RIGHT AWAY. GODS WORD IS TRUE IT WILL COME SOMEDAY.SO YOU PLAY AND HAVE FUN UNTILL AT LAST THE DAY WHEN I COME.
I love you so much my darling girl.
As Always your Mommie.
