| Just as I was about to leave the ladie's house without a dog she turned to me and said...just a minute I do have a red cocker spaniel that just arrived down the basement. Let me go get her. Just as she came up the stairs there you were. A little, tiny red female cocker spaniel. Just what I had envisioned. I wrote the check out so fast and we took off. The other two dogs didn't want anything to do with you so you cuddled up in my lap as we all drove home. That was 16 years ago. Now today you have passed away. I can't stop thinking about you. Tears are flowing from my eyes. You will be missed. I loved my Brandy so much. She was the light of my life for so many years. Rest well my dear. You are loved and missed. |
