Tribute to a Friend:

It's hard to say goodbye to a faithful loving friend,
I've held you in my heart and soul until the very end.
I know you're not here now, and you won't be here tomorrow.
No ocean depths nor mountain heights are greater than my sorrow.

It's hard to face a day without you, it's hard to be apart.
I miss you so, there's such a void, a hole torn in my heart.
Sometimes I think I see you from the corner of my eye,
But when I turn and look there is nothing but a sigh.

It's hard to say goodbye to you, my faithful loving friend.
I hold you in my heart and soul, there really is no end,
Because you are not really gone, because I love you so,
You live on in my memories, and always will, I know.
