Gizmo

Just two days ago we were told that one of our furbabies, Gizmo a Cocker Spaniel was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. We are going for a second opinion, but in the meantime I can't seem to stop crying. The doc said he gave him anywhere from a few months to less than a month and then just changed his food. That was it,no meds! That is one reason we are going to a second opinion. He doesn't seem to have any pain or any other symptoms for that matter, except for weight loss. I just keep imaging what it will be like when he's not here anymore and I just can't stop be depressed. I've done my research and I know there are other things that could be wrong with Gizmo than his kidneys because the doc didn't do any other tests or even put him on any meds. So if anyone has a story like mine, I would really appreciate hearing about it because right now it feels so lonely. Thanks, |
