I can not wait to go beyond the Golden Gate,
To meet those who have gone before.
To meet those who have crossed the Bridge of Evermore.
They were family, one and all.
The Cats, the Dogs and all the rest, who lived with us
and made our life the very best.
The young ones and the very old, each has a story to be told.
Each was named and had a tale.
Be it a donkey, sheep or baby bird, each one has left a
foot print on our heart.
They all have a place tucked into our soul.
They made us better, truth be told, as they gave us memories
when we get old.
Memories of Happy Days. Memories no one can take away.
But then they passed and left us here.
Each one, no matter how big or small,
has left a little mark upon our heart.
Its so very comforting to know there is a place that we can go
to meet them again. A place that will never end.
It's a place called Rainbow Bridge.
They will wait for us and greet us there.
They will care for us as we cared for them.
The only thing about now and then is its a place with no end.
We will live with them forever more and its just beyond that Golden Door.
We'll be there when its time, so wait for us, and we'll all be together once more.
