Here they come again, the waves of grief They hit me so hard that my chest feels like it will explode But it is really my heart, my heart that is broken Then the waves leave for a moment, an hour, who knows at this point Who cares at this point But then I remember I remember you and realize there is only one of you and thank God I had those years with you Thank God and I will take the waves of grief however painful they may be because I love you Besame, my teddy bear yorkie. |
