| two labradoodles that will forever be etched in my memory crossed rainbow bridge last week. It's taken me this long to write down what I've been feeling (or not feeling). Venus and Serena were gaurdians , friends,hunters,not pets.Long days and nights by myself, sometimes thoughts , impure at best, clouded my mind. no-one to understand me, talk with me, just listen. Venus ,Serena you gave me hope, just being there, panting, was somehow soothing. I don't blame you Jo, the dogs were loose...it was no-one's fault, that needed to be said. Venus ,Serena I'll miss your wagging tails, your grunting, the tire-less ball chasing.....everything !!! SO HOW MUCH OF OUR GROWTH LIES in YOU |
