As that blue stuff was shot into your vein;

Leaving 1 last beat and 1 last goodbye,
With a tear soaked face petting your jet black fur,
While you left this world behind.

You were in pain,
You now have peace.

This was not an easy decision,
I never wanted this for you,
I could only shake my head,
For my voice was raw with pain.

Looking at you alive one minute and dead the next;

I did not want to leave you,
So I stayed with you,

Seeing you put to sleep was one of the hardest things,
Seeing that Blue liquid go in your front leg,
Hearing that Scream of pain as they injected it;

I could not comfort you as you left,
All I could do was cry,

Cry for you,
Wishing still 1 more day with you love.
I cry often for you and part of me is buried with you.
You were truly special and meant so much to me.
