Tessa

All dogs go to heaven
you have to believe
where else could they go
when it's their time to leave

The wag of her nub
her wet doggy kiss
she showed us her love
and thats what we'll miss

The good lord made her to help
see us thru
the good times and bad times
when other friends wouldn't do

She may have gone on
but she'll always be near
in our hearts and our memory
so don't shed a tear

All dogs go to heaven
it has to be true
they simply go first
and hold a place for you

She did the butt dance
she laid at your feet
she spoke on command
she shook for a treat

She mooed like a cow
she guarded your door
she loved her rope-bone and
her boy even more

She may have gone on
but she'll always be near
just you say "we love you Tessa"
I am sure she will hear
