SHADOW

My best friend named shadow he was fun and playful even at 6 years old, but then on the day of August 19, 2010 my black and white puppy was taken from me early that day. It was the first day of my senior year. My mom had let him out to pee and he was hit by a car and the worse thing about it was the car didnt even bother to stop to see what they had hit. Shadow being the strong dog that he was walked up to my mom and came inside. My mom came in and woke me and my brother up and told us what had happened to him. So he had limped his was into my brothers room and just layed there and yelped. None of us could handle the way he yelped. so after we left for school my grandpa had came in and get hin and had taken him to the vet for us. When the vet examined him he said that it was to serious and it would be to much for him to recover from. so in his best interesst he was put to sleep. so my grandpa took him to his farm and has buried him on his farm so i can go vist his site anytime that i want to, but its still hard waking up to hear that you best friend was taken away from you after having him for 6 years. ive raised him since he was 6 weeks old and was only big enough to fit in the palm of your hand. He was such a loyal dog to all of his family and he made friends with anyone that cam into contact with him. even though he was little he always protected me and my brother. So no matter if i ever get another dog he will never hold the place in my heart that my best friend shadow did. he will always be in my thoughts everyday. Also all of the best things that he has done for me woll stay with me throughout my life so im so thankful that i had Shadow in my life and that he was a huge part of it. Im sincerly going to miss my beat friend forever and always. I love you Shadow Puppy Corbitt!!!! RIP SHADOW PUPPY CORBITT |
