Bandit April 26, 1998 -- August 08, 2011 Sleep Tight... I remember the first time I saw you as little as can be As you snuggled undercover with daddy to surprise me A black and white tiny fur ball is all I could see At first I thought "no way, how could this be?" We already had one furry kid, how could we love another... But it didn't take long before my heart was captured And knew I was in for the long haul when I held you in my hands. All your little antics, even your grumpy attitude at times Brought us so much happiness and we loved you all the more Growing older without you was never part of our plans... So today is really hard as we took a difficult stand. No longer could you do the things you liked the best and even though You were probably in pain at times, you never let it show. I believe from "our talks" that you were ready to go, but I miss you already more than anyone will ever know. So sleep tight, our precious friend and thank you for loving us til the end! |
