Almost 11yrs got to watch you grow from a puppy into a big old pup,
No matter what was wrong, you stayed strong not wanting to give up.
You were more then just a dog, you were a friend, a family member, more of a person,
But you sure did cause a lot of mischief, that is for certain.

So many summers watching you eating and digging in dirt,playing in water and tearing up the hose,
Having to replace them year after year to watch happen again n again I suppose.
Remembering all the times we played stick, hide n seek and playing ball,
No matter what the season was summer, spring, winter or fall.

I'm sorry for missing these few years being so far away,
But hopefully you'll forgive me when we meet up again one day.
Your in a better place now where you wont suffer and somewhere that you now belong,
So until we meet again my friend, ill have to try to remain strong.

Your with your dad now and your best friend MissyLynn too,
I know they were happy and waiting up there for you .
You will always be in my heart no matter near or far,
And when I want to talk to you, ill just talk to your star.

Everyday you are missed more n more then anyone would ever know,
I talk to your picture everyday n look at you, cause i wish you didnt have to go,
But now that you had to say goodbye for now,
I know that we will be together again one day, some day some how.....
