Memories of Stanley
| We found Stanley on our drive in the woods 6 1/2 years ago, down on his luck and I'm sure he had a story, he was mostly blind hard of hearing and with heartworm, no one ever came for him. We brought him into our family of 6 other dogs. They couldn't remove the cataracts so we made the best life for him we could. He won me over very quickly, he would run and play with me and despite a bad trachea and all his ailments he was a happy go lucky boy with hearty appetite, sweet and affectionate he always slept on the foot of my bed. We never knew where or who he came from but when he left he was ours heart and soul.It will soon be a year my dear baby, I miss you still and think you every day. It's been 2 yrs now my angel and you picture is on my bedside table and I miss you and always will when I see a poodle my heart thinks of you... 2005 time has stood still my little boy there will never be one like you my sweetheart.. 2006 another dark winter without you my poo boy 2007 miss you my little one 2008 the ole bunch is all gone but you are there with me always dear one. 2009 poodle next door comes and visits me doesn't want to go home.. thinking of you and I think he knows..
