Memories of Silence
I love you and will miss you forever. One day, we will meet on the other side. I will bring crab sticks. I love you so much and I'm sorry if I ever offended you. You were the star of my life.

Silence was the first cat of my adult life. She was everything! Beautiful, funny, charismatic, so smart! She would always nib on plants, although she knew she wasn't allowed to. She would play hide-and-seek with me and attack suddenly with a funny "ch-ch". What a cat. What an angel. She loved crab sticks most of all and Tuna water. She despised other human food. Every night, she would crawl onto my chest and purr for a while (this was followed by a bit of a painful dough-cooking with her chunky heavy legs). Then, she would always suddenly stop and go away. I think Silence was a tiny bit bipolar, oh, and I love her for it.

A few weeks ago, Silence was diagnosed with FIP. Despite being in a hospital for a week and getting injections, she passed away today in the morning. The sunrise was very beautiful today. I'm so sorry, Silence, as I wasn't there for you, and you died in the hospital alone. I hope you will see the most beautiful sunrises from now on.

Silence was genuinely the best cat, the cattest cat a person could wish for. A cat goddess. Oh, my dear, my love, my sweet baby, how will I miss you. And I will miss you scratching the bed and knocking down things from the counters, even my AirPods. I will miss you chasing the silliest things like wrappers and pens. I will love you forever. I'm so sorry I couldn't save you. I only wish to join you one day and see you once more.

I believe that cats have 9 lives, and I believe that Silence is already reborn into a beautiful black kitten, that she's healthy, safe, and she's as sassy as ever.

I love you forever. I love you so much, my sweetie pie. My Silence, the one who has always known her name, and so many other things. The cleverest cat ever. I love you.
