Memories of Serafina BacaFitz
She chose us. She jumped and sat on my shoulder when I went to view the litter of kittens. She used to love running up and down the stairs at the condo and loved getting belly rubs at the top of the stairs.

She hated the car but loved going to New Hampshire and exploring at the lake or begrudgingly stepping through the snow. She loved hissing at other cats. She loved to scream bloody murder when other cats approached, and when she visited the vet.

She loved sleeping between us and letting us know when we needed to make a spot for her. She loved kneading arms and bellys. She loved being carried later on in her years, and exploring high places like the closet, tops of doors, and tops of kitchen cabinets.

She loved nipping ankles when she wanted attention and howling loudly when one of her two humans was away. She hated suitcases.

She loved 3:00pm sunny spots and chirping at birds. She loved mischief, exploring the neighbors and jumping out of windows. She loved eating socks and scratching the sofa when she knew she wasn't supposed to. She loved looking at herself in the mirror but hated photos.

Everyone commented on how beautiful she was all the time.

She loved zoom calls and being in front of the computer during work time. She loved zooming around the house and bed-making time.

She loved finishing yogurt bowls in the morning and sleeping in sunny spots.

She made our life better every day. She lived a long 16 1/2 years, and we tried to make it the best.
