From the moment I first saw him at the breeder, when he was just a few weeks old, he gave me kisses. He kissed and licked my face(showing his affection and admiration for me)right up until the day before he joined all the other animals over the Rainbow Bridge🌈 He followed me everywhere, either it be into the kitchen or jumping on the couch to lay next to( or on me) lol He definitely was a lap dog, full of love, companionship and my best friend. He slept with me every night since my mom's passing and I woke up in the morning with him laying across my legs or his head resting on the pillow next to me. He loved to snuggle and lay close to me with my warm cozy fleece blanket. The last year or so, when he couldn't run up steps anymore, he sat at the bottom of my bedroom steps looking up, ready to lay down with his master. He was the most behaved dog I've had. I had two other shih tzu's previously before him. The first was a boy than a girl. I can't believe it's almost three weeks since his passing. There will be no other dog like him! He did live a long life! This year he would've turned 16! but I knew he was slowly declining, and in the end, he did show pain with tears in his eyes😢 My heart is broken, laying at night not seeing him by me or hearing him snore, lol🤣 But I know he's in a better place now, regaining his strength back and health.🙏 Like they say, the pain and heartache will lessen in time, but right now the loss is still fresh, but I'm trying to stay strong and go on with my life, just like Romeo would want me too❤️ Hope your jumping through the hillside, making new fur baby friends and feeling energized and youthful! Forever part of me.....❤️🥰😇
