Memories of Rhoby
Rhoby came into the world a tiny puppy with large paws. Everyone commented on the size of the paws. She grew into them and grew into our hearts. Whether it was going to the lake and swimming with her sisters, floating around in her tiny baby pool or dropping logs and sticks in front of dad as tried to mow the lawn, Rhoby loved to have fun and be near her family.

Everything about Rhoby was large from her appetite to her attitude and way she viewed the world. Her love for her people was the largest thing about her. I remember anytime I went through a tough time getting a kiss and nuzzle from Rhob, and know she comforted everyone in the family at one time or another.

When my parents went to pick her up, Rhoby cried and sat in my mother's lap. The friend who had given her to us said "have fun..your life will never be the same", and laughed. Raising a puppy had its challenges - like my dad sleeping on the floor with her as she acclimated to our home or when she crawled into the tub because got scared during storms - but one thing is for sure our lives will never be the same because of all the love the big baby girl gave us, right up until her last moments.

We will miss and love you Rhoby, you were truly a special dog.

Your family.
