Memories of Pepper
She always loved chickens and would come running in the room if you played baby chick sounds. She could watch the chickens peck around for hours. Carrots and blueberry greenies were her favorite snack and her legs would jump backwards off the ground when she barked. She also loved to run after her babies, and when you would pick them up and put them back in the basket, she would go right over and get every one of them back out. She was the best snuggle buddy and gave the best hugs. All rubs would lead to belly rubs, whether you wanted to or not. She loved to run around in the snow, and every fall she would get leaves stuck in her ears. You also couldn't crack and egg without her peeping around the corner looking at you with these big brown eyes. I always got suckered into to making her one. I never got to eat a full stick of string cheese either. She loved unconditionally. She followed me everywhere. I took her just about everywhere too. She's been camping, and to other states with us. I miss her more than words can express.
