And if I go, while you are still here...Know that I still live on, Vibrating to a different measure, Behind a thin veil that you cannot see through. You will not see me, so you must have faith. I will wait there for the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other. Until then, live your life to the fullest. And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart,...I will be there. Owlie is the precious furbaby of Jayne, a good neighbor of ours. He was rescued as a tiny kitten by his mom, after she found him with all of his fur burned off, and his right eye blinded by cruel men. After months of gentle, loving care, Owlie got his beautiful fur back, but never regained his eyesight in that eye. We got to know him when we helped to care for Jayne's very special needs kitties when she had to be away for a week. We gave Owlie his insulin, saw to it that he ate and stayed well. He had developed an infection in his blinded eye, and the difficult decision was made to remove the eye. Our precious boy crossed Rainbows Bridge from complications due to the diabetes after surgery. Jayne, his loving mom, and we, his loving Aunt Clare and Aunt Martha, will miss him so much. He was so brave and we know that he is waiting just across the Bridge. Be well, be free, and know that you are loved with all our hearts, sweetest Owlie. 12/12/07 - Dearest Owlie, we know that you met sweet Beauty at the Bridge not too long ago, and now we are asking that you take care of Tessa who just came to join you and Beauty, E'Beth and the others of Jayne's furkids who have crossed the Bridge. She just got there yesterday and needs y'all to show her around and surround her with love. Your mom misses you all so very much. Please nuzzle her heart and let her know that she is loved and missed. Every one of you is precious to her and to us. Your aunties, Clare and Martha 3/25/08 - Dear One, we know that you met Bootsie T on Sunday when he came to join all of you, Jayne's beloveds, at the Bridge. Please take him under your paw and show him around that beautiful place. Jayne misses you all so much, and you will be with your mom again. And we love all of you too. Your aunties, Clare and Martha 6/20/08 - Sweetest Owlie, your buddies, Midnight and Larry have joined you at the Bridge. Jayne, your mom, misses all of you so very much, and we ask that you join together and send your love down the Rainbow straight into her heart. We love and miss you too. Your aunties, Clare and Martha 10/7/08 - Loving Owlie, another one of your friends, Suzy, came to join you and the others from Furry Friends Haven, on Sunday, 10/5/08. Please take her under your paw and show her all around. She will be missing her best friend, Bleu, who was beside her on the bed when she crossed the Bridge to be with you. Love her and teach her all she needs to know, okay? Your mom, Jayne misses all of you so very much, so please send your love down the Rainbow straight into her heart. You are all very precious to her and to us. Koby is there now too and will watch over all of you with his doggy love. We love you all. We know that you are enjoying the warmth of the crackling fire in the fireplace, curled up on your favorite blanket, watching the snow fall gently outside the windows, and gazing at the beautiful silver and gold Christmas trees. The angels are there to hold you close in God's love. We will see you again one day, along with your loving mom, Jayne, never to be parted. God bless you and keep you in his care forever and ever.
