Memories of Layla

I found my baby girl Layla at my local shelter when she was 12 weeks old. I will never forget the day I got her. She was all alone in a kennel just sitting there all sad and lonely. I almost didn't see her at first but something made me turn around before leaving with no dog and there she was. I knew at that moment that I had to have her come home with me. Since day 1 she was a perfect ANGEL. Worse habit was she loved to chew off the corners of my pillow and comforter on the bed. Never aggressive, mean or a threat to anyone. Kids and other dogs loved her too. She was so special. With the family for almost 12 years and all that knew her would say what a pretty and sweet lady she is. I am sad she is gone now but knowing she is at the Rainbow bridge and waiting for us with my other pets for all us to be reunited and live in peace and harmony with no pain ever again...this helps me and I will always love her.
