Memories of Lacie

Lacie was brought to me by my grandson and his parents when she was six months old. She was my universe and I was hers. God gave me Lacie for 12 years to care for and for her to care for me.She loved to play with my grandchildren and fetch her little orange ball that she had for years. Lacie would stand up on her back feet and clap her hands for Jesus, say "RaRa" very clearly, give high five, shake, count to ten with her paw on your hand, and attempt to roll over...she was a rollie pollie. There were so many more things she could do. Most of all, she loved me unconditionally. She was my sweet baby girl and I loved her like my child. You are forever in our hearts sweet "La La". Mom 10/27/11 Well baby girl it's been one week today since I last held you. I miss you so much. I hope you've made lots of friends. Sisie misses you so much too. She acts like she doesn't know what to do with herself. It will get better I know with time. Love you so much and will carry your love with me forever. So sorry it was so painful your last few minutes on this earth. The guilt I felt was almost unbearable. Now I know you are no longer in pain and now happy again and that gives me a little peace. Give Sadie and Buffy a kiss for me. Hugs and kisses!! Mom
