Memories of Kirk

My Kirk, She came to me after her previous person had to give her up to a shelter when Kirk was about 4 years old. From the moment I met her she was an "in your face" kind of cat. She ran around the adoption room and played with everything she could find, then she looked at me and jumped into the open carrier -- how could I not take her home? She had never been outside, but she knew it was there. From the moment she came home with me she waged a campaign to be allowed outside. She tolerated walks on a leash, and enjoyed time spent on the balcony, while always wanting more. I promised her that one day we would have a house with a yard where she could run free. The last three years she had access to a great yard with mice and birds and trees, she was so happy! The most important thing to know is that I kept my promise!
