Memories of Imp

Imp has been with us since he was 6 weeks old. He's always been adventurous and mischievious, poking his long soft brown nose into everything. He loved people,his dog and cat brothers and sisters, good chase, chewing pillows and sitting on the couch. He also never backed down before a bigger dog. That's how coyotes got him. He was trying to chase them off but they turned on him instead. There were just too many of them and his short fat legs just would not carry him fast enough and Mom, Dad and Sister got there too late... And that's how Long Soft Brown Dog met his end, in the middle of his last coyote hunt. He died with a smile, knowing we would come and find him and take him over the bridge. He will always be remembered by his human and animal family. Forever Long, Forever Soft, Forever Brown, Mister Needletooth, Aligator, Shark, our darling Impy Boy. 11/3/2010. Many years have passed and our furry family has changed quite a bit. Gone is Sunny and Earl passed, Puzzle had back surgery and Pixie is getting on in years. Elf is all grey over the muzzle and Snowflake has lost most of her teeth.there are dogs and cats in the house that you never knew, but I wish you did.They came from shelters and people who could no longer care for them. Your life goes on in so many others, but there is not a day that my heart hurts with love and guilt for you. They came from shelters and people who no longer wanted them.
