Memories of Emily

Our beautiful Emily. She arrived on our front porch 16 years ago. Miss Emie called a white flower pot home for a while. We were new at "kitties". She was coaxed inside where eventually she met Blue and Ashley. A complete Softy! We moved to our current place along with our white fur baby. I remember her cast from when she broke a toe! She had many new siblings.. Both canine and feline. Graves disease didn't phase her. Trips to Atlanta and treatments. She then developed a fibrosarcoma. No fear from Emie. Surgery and radiation whipped that. Our girl was hanging in with a champion's spirit until this past Sunday when she had a stroke. Miss Emie crossed Rainbows bridge to play with her brothers and sisters. An amazing journey. Well done. We know God smiles while comforting you Babe. We'll see you again. 2 little kittens showed up with their Mom Deb just 2 hrs after Emie's last journey. What an inspiration!!
