11/23/11 Peachy, In about two weeks, it will be two years since you left us for the Rainbow Bridge. We miss you and think of you every day and hope you have made some friends. We will be with you again someday. We love you very much. Hugs & kisses, Mommy, Daddy, Sasha & Bebo 12/08/10 Peachy, It's been one year since you left us for the Rainbow Bridge. We hope you have made some friends and are running around and playing. Please wait for us. We miss you every day and love you very much. Hugs & kisses, Mommy, Daddy, Sasha & Bebo This is a very sad time for us. We lost our beloved nine year old cat Dr. Peachman one week ago today. He had a heart attack and went very quickly. Peach had been suffering from diabetes for the past nine months but never stopped being a true love to both of us. Peachy was born in a back alley somewhere in the Northwest Bronx a little over nine years ago. He stumbled upon the heart and soul of our good friend Trish, who introduced him to Nestor for a true love at first bite experience. He was first named Peaches but as soon as Nestor realized he was a boy, he became Peachman. Sheila had been allergic to cats her whole life, when Nestor and Sheila's relationship started to blossom, Sheila knew if Nestor had to decide between her and the cat, it would be Peachman. Miraculously, this little bundle of fur cured Sheila of her allergies which is why we added a Dr. to the beginning of his name. No matter how you called him, Peachy, Peaches, Peach Critter, Peachman, Doc or Dr. Peachman, he was a truly beautiful animal. He slept with us every night and let us hold his paw which is very unusual for a cat. We buried him at a pet cemetery in a beautiful cherry coffin with a blue blanket and pillow. Sheila put her socks in the coffin with him since he always loved to sit on her clothes. Peachy, we love you and miss you and know we will all be together again someday.
