Memories of Daisy Blue

Our baby girl was the runt of the litter when we rescued her in the spring of 1996. The dogs in her mom's neighborhood were not nice, and she and her siblings had to leave her birth mommy when she was only five weeks old. We picked her because of her curly tail with the white tip. She is a Black Lab, Cocker Spaniel, Chow Chow and Rottweiler mix, so she was a very feisty baby. But once she got settled down, she went from a girl who never wanted to be touched who could never get enough love. Daisy was the kind of dog who got to know each one of us, and had special traditions with each of us. She had a sixth sense about things and always wanted to be with someone when they were sad or not feeling well. She was always energetic and playful. Her favorite game was "Itchy Game." She liked to run up along all the couches and chairs while we all scratched her back and eventually, her tummy, when she'd get so excited that she just had to flip over. Daisy also really loved Green Tea, which Daddy made her most mornings. She loved big fluffy beds, of which she had several, and the little couch in her girl's room that she decided was hers. Daisy's adopted big sister was Midnight, who went to the Rainbow Bridge on June 5, 2006. Daisy grieved for Middie and really missed her. Daisy also really missed her Grandma Kilpatrick (Nancy) who passed away on December 19, 2000. We miss our girl, but we're glad she's with a few people and animals who she really loves. Daisy is loved and missed by her daddy, Brett, her mama, Tammy, her girl, Heather, and her boy, Kyle.
