Dear Cookie Monster Panda Bear, I'm sitting here broken hearted. You went you to the Bridge this morning and I'm in shock. It happened to fast, and just the other day we were playing and you seemed to happy and healthy. It was so hard to let you go, but I could not let you suffer. I love you too much. Cookie, you saved me at a time when I was crushed over losing Gizmo, and I will always hold you in my heart. I found you on the street as a kitten, and you were blind and pregnant, and sick. Thankfully, I was able to nurse you back to health, and we had a wonderful life together. You were one tough Cookie. Despite your challenges, and your blindness, they never got in your way of running the house. Never has there been such a sweet, loving, gentle cat. And where others saw a "fat", I saw more to hug! What a great hugger you were! And I loved that jelly belly! I will miss you yelling at me in the morning for food, and waiting for me at the top of the steps when I come home from work. I'll miss brushing you, and you rubbing your face against me with the sweetest purr in the world. I'll miss watching you eat lying down, and trying to sneak Gigi's food. I'll miss the Kitty Kat and baby Gi show. The room feels so empty now. So do I. I will always remember how patient you were to Gizmo, and when I brought Gigi home you welcomed her. You became best friends, and she will miss you so! We both will. You will remain in our hearts always, and be loved and never forgotten. I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER, KITTY KAT FLUFF-PUFF-PUFF! You will never be replaced -- you are so very special. Time to go night, night sleep bye. Gizzy will be with you. Scorpio too. We'll all be together again someday. I will miss your purring and your gentle ways. While you only had one eye, and couldn't even see out of it, yours was the sweetest expression I've ever seen. I love you so much. I hope that now you see and are running with all the other little furbabies... Gigi misses you so much too! She keeps looking for you. Be well, my sweetheart... Mommy October 24, 2008.
