Memories of Chauncey & Chloe

Chauncey was a unique, a one of a kind dog. I will never forget his pillow, hedgehogs(he went through about 25 of them). He would tear a hole in it and his dog sister Chloe(AKA Best Buddy in the world)would pull all the stuffing out. They were a team! And I would go out and buy another one. His pillow was his absolute favorite(it was his after meal dance). He would stand by the closet door until you gave him his pillow to dance with. He had 2 personalities, the normal one was obviously Chauncey, and the other side of him, we called Chincey. If he had something in his mouth he wasn't suppose to have, all you had to do was tickle his nose and he would smile, take your finger off him, he would stop. He knew the name Chincey. He was smart. When it was time to go for a walkie, and you said that word, he would run around the house panting until he went out the door. He was a drooler! He loved sticking his head under my arm when I was eating. His favorite people foods were filet, popcorn,and prezels, but had to be Philadelphia soft prezels(went nuts when you walked in the door with it), peanut butter, cherrios, and rice crispies! He always ate cereal off of my spoon! We loved to share. He also was funny after he ate, all I had to do was tell him to burb,I would rub his snout and he would burb. Same thing with going #1 and #2, he would go to the bathroom when Mommy told him to. Chauncey loved Halloween(loved kids and wearing costumes), Christmas was his other favorite. He loved going to the mall to Picture People for his yearly X-mas picture, and of course pictures with Santa! He would get very excited when he got his picture taken! His nicknames were Boobie, Handsome, Chincey, Bubbalubbas, Sunshine, Chaunc,and Chinc. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I miss kissing your lips and your floofy cheeks! I always told him he had the best cheeks and the most handsome face. I will love, and miss you forever. Daddy, Emily, and especially Chloe misses you dearly. We hope at the Rainbow Bridge you are healed, and playing free with old and new friends. We love you. Dec.17, 2008- Hi Chaunc, mommy misses you so much. I think about you everyday. Christmas is coming,and its not the same decorating without you. I put your x-mas bandana and your raindeer ears that plays music on your picture on top of the mantle. You wore that every year. I took our yearly x-mas picture yesterday, it was really hard to take it without you. Emily said, Chloe's really sad, this is her first x-mas without Chauncey. I told her, we all are. I guess you know about Finnigan. His middle name is Chauncey. Chloe needed the company. I hope you understand. He's cute, but he's just not you!! I hope your having a good time with all of your new friends! So many people sent mommy messages about you, your so loved! I miss you and love you so much. Feb.14, 2009- Hi Chaunc, I wanted to tell you Happy Valentines Day! This was your holiday because, tomorrow is your Birthday! You'll be 10 years old! I always called you my Valentine Boy because, you were born the day after Valentines Day. Chloe and I already sang Happy Birthday to you in the car! Did you hear us? Emily wants to tell you something:I love you Chauncey. She wrote that herself. She knows how to spell now. I was telling Emily this morning about all the animals you are in heaven with. Amber, Kerry, Pepe(he went to the rainbow the day you were born,so mommy knows your playing with your cousin), Joey, Betsy,and Whitey too. Mommy loved all of them and I know all of you are together. Can you tell them mommy saids Hi, and I miss them. Can you tell Pepe that his mommy misses him too. Aunt Randi misses you too, Chaunc! I miss saying, Aunt Randi's here, and you would run so fast!! I tell Finnigan all kinds of stories about you. He thinks your funny. You do know he will never replace you. You were my very first special fur baby. Daddy showed me a video on the computer today. You were running in the yard with Chloe. Mommy was spraying both of you with the hose. Emily was a baby and she thought it was so funny watching you both getting wet. I heard you bark, and I got sad. It makes me feel better to talk to you. I love you and miss you so much. We all wish you a Happy Birthday over the Bridge. And Happy Valentines Day too! We sent you ballons and a cake today. I hope you like it. Oh, Emily sent you pink roses, she said you like them! I love you, mommy will see you in her dreams. Aug.6, 2009- Hi Chinc, how are you? We miss you sooo much. It's one year today since you've been gone. It still feels like yesterday. I think about you every single day. Last night Chloe, Finni, and myself, we all sat with you, and talked to you. I hope you heard us! Emily was crying the other day because, we were talking about you, and she said she misses you. I told her I missed when you smiled, she said she missed that too! I hope you have alot of new and old friends your playing with. I sent you a rawhide bonie, please share nicely, don't be mean to any of your friends! We all know you never got rawhide because you were very protective of it. Finni is so bad! Do you watch him? He got in trouble for putting holes in some of your woo woos. I told him he can't do that! Walkies, we haven't been doing them lately. Its just no fun without you! And Chloe loves car rides now! She used to hate them when you were here. I think she took over some of your personality. I look in the back of the car alot when I'm driving, and I see your beautiful face looking at me! You so loved your car rides! I just wanted you to know I love and miss you so much and I always will. And by the way, the big bunny that is always in our yard, is that you? Chloe has a slight relation to him and he always looks at me! We call him Chauncey Bunny! It makes us feel better! Well, mommy's off to bed, I hope to dream about you. I love you boobie! Feb.13, 2010- I haven't wrote in a long time. I'm sorry! I miss you so much. Your birthday is on Monday! Happy 11th birthday! And of course, Happy Valentine's Day too! Chloe loves and misses you so much. She still knows your name, she still looks around if I say "Where's Chauncey?" I'm sure you know already, but your cousin Courtney has left us, and she went to the Bridge. Will you please make sure you help her around, and she wants to reunite with Amber. Courtney was really sick. Can you tell her Aunt Mish loves her, and I miss her. I called Finni, Chaunc today. I so wish you were still here with us. Just know your thought of each and every day. I always tell funny stories about you. Emily and I were talking about your smile. I miss those beautiful teeth, and kissing them when I tickled your nose. Well, I will talk to you soon. Hopefully, I will see you tonight! I love you always and everyone misses you! I'm going to send you some presents. Happy Birthday, my Handsome Boy! Mommy loves you!!! Aug.6, 2011- Wow, I can't believe it has been 3 years today. I know it's been a while. How is my Chloe? I know you 2 are together. Tell her I will give her a residency soon. It's been a tough year. I didn't write on your birthday. I'm sorry. You know mommy is always thinking of you, and Chloe. Finni reminds me of you sometimes. He is alittle of you, and Chloe. Tell Chloe that Finni, Emily, and mommy miss her soooo much! Emily crys sometimes because she misses both of you. Oh, and I guess you have seen Madalyn? Tell Chloe, she makes Finni feel better! Mad is here today 1 year. It is very odd that the day we got Mad, it was your anniversary that you passed. I think it means that you sent her to us. She is bad sometimes, but all and all she is very sweet. I hope pop-pop visits you. Do you ever see him? If you do, tell him I miss him. He probably made friends with everybody! Well, I just wanted you to know your always thought about, and mommy loves and misses you every day. Tell Chloe mommy misses her and loves her so much, and I hope she is healthly again. I just wanted to know, there were 2 dragonflies in our backyard last weekend. They were playing, and were there for quite sometime. Was that you and Chloe? I hope so! I love you both, and miss you always. Good night my 2 perfect angels.
