Memories of Annie
| Dear Annie, We miss your sweet little presence and your soft brown eyes. You told us everything through those eyes, your love for us, your joy and happiness with life, and finally, how you wanted to go on to Rainbows Bridge and be with Odds and Trixie and Boo. It has been two weeks since you passed from this earthly existence, while being held close in the arms of your Gramma and Auntie Kris. Scooter misses you and is very lonely, even though we have talked to her and explained you are now well and whole again with sunshine and shade, food and water, a soft bed and many friends to play with until we all see each other again. The kitties, Patches, Pago & Li'l Marvy all wonder where their nemesis has gone and why there is no "barking, barking, barking" whenever they appear. Gramma and Scooter miss you so much on our daily walks; it isn't any fun without you Annie, but we are trying anyway. You were always at my side Annie, and "told me" many times to lie down on the couch so we could take naps together. You were the sweetest little baby in the world when we arrived home, reaching your little paws up for a lift up and a big hug. You and Gramma held "paws" all the time; there are so many happy memories of you Annie. I believe you are visiting with Granny too, and will be her friend again. Have lots of food and snoozes and fun until we are together again. Annie, be good to Patchie and don't bark at her, I know you will be a sweet sister and help Oddie show her all the sights for new kitties at Rainbows. We miss you baby Annie, and love you very much. Dear Little Annie, I sent a letter to Oddie about your little cousin Piers, who is coming to be with you this evening. Be ready to meet Little Piersie and welcome him to his new home; keep him with you and Odds and Patches always, and love him a lot. Gramma. June 9, 2008 Annie, Cosmo is coming to Rainbows this evening to reunite with his brother Piers, and you and Odds and Patches. Please show him around and welcome him with wags and kisses.
